Don't Mess with Texas! - Reign of Steel at Sea - 4 Players - Ed Jablonski
Play the game whose picture is on the main page of this convention! Battleship Texas escorts a convoy in the N. Atlantic! This scenario uses the “Reign of Steel at Sea” Tactical Naval Combat System for the Avalanche Press’ Second World War at Sea series (using RADAR, floatplanes, plunging fire, etc.). It will be exciting and challenging for both sides (up to 2 players each side). Historically, BB-35 Texas and the German Battleship crossed tracks less than three days apart in early 1941. But what if they had met? In this scenario, the Bismarck and her escorting cruiser Prinz Eugen are assumed to have sailed just a few days later, and consequently have eluded their British interceptors. The German’s mission is to hunt and destroy helpless merchant ships, but here they have stumbled upon a valuable England-bound convoy escorted by the USS Texas, plus, a few American Destroyers as well. However, the USA is a still officially a neutral power! But you know what they say: Don’t mess with Texas! |

If there is enough time left, we'll run a round of the 4 player Jaws board game. One player is the shark chomping his way through meals, the others play Brody, Hooper, and Quint. Scale: Lego |
