A great time was had at Rice University this past weekend at the 39th OwlCon game convention. Members of our group ran or played in a number of great games, featuring rule systems like Brigadier General Commands, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Ronin, The Man Who Would Be King, What A Tanker, and others.

Wow, thanks for all the great pics.

I had a great OwlCon this year. My only real negative is the downtime in between games, an hour between sessions is too long.

The best games for me were, in no particular order:

- Hell Boats (Fun fast scenario with lots of cinematic moments
- Martians Attack Pleasantville (Not quite as fast, but fun with lots of silly/goofy moments)
- Red Alert (Great game, played well but the dice hated my team - it happens)

I really need to play more minis games in my life, I do really enjoy the game systems and the visuals.
